Business trip to Sweden

Press release 11/29/2024

From 25 to 28 November 2024, enviMV took part in a business trip to Sweden organised by Germany Trade & Invest (GTAI) and MV Invest. During the three-day excursion to Malmö, Gothenburg and its surrounding area, we gained a wide range of insights into a variety of economic sectors. Innovative approaches to decarbonisation through the use of innovative environmental technologies showed practical solutions that can serve as inspiration for an environmentally friendly transformation.

One example of industrial transformation is the municipality of Stenungsund, which has developed from a fishing village to a major centre of the petrochemical industry since the mid-20th century. Its collaborative project Hållbar Kemi, which promotes the sustainable transformation of the chemical industry and the expansion of renewable energies, with a focus on environmental compatibility and resource efficiency. Other stops on the trip included Processkontroll Green Technology, a leading provider of petrol station infrastructure and services in the field of liquid and compressed energy gases. We also visited the Swedish Environmental Research Institute (IVL), where we were presented with the innovative beginnings and development of Gothenburg's heating and cooling network.
