The BePacMan project entered its next phase with the partner meeting and study visit in Copenhagen. Representatives from Poland, Germany, Denmark and Lithuania came together to work on sustainable solutions for paper-based packaging in e-commerce.
The meeting focused on the question: How can the lifespan of paper packaging be extended and waste in the South Baltic region effectively reduced?
The project, funded by the Interreg South Baltic Programme, relies on cross-sectoral cooperation to develop strategies for reuse, CO₂ reduction and true circularity.
On site, the project partners gained exciting insights at KLS PurePrint A/S, a sustainable printing company specialising in environmentally friendly paper packaging.
The project partners also met with the people behind RE-ZIP, an innovative company that is revolutionising e-commerce with reusable packaging.
