The MV Future Council, which was appointed in Marlow on December 18, 2018 and consists of personalities from science, business, culture and civil society, was convened by the Minister President of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern Manuela Schwesig in September 2020.
Among others, Mr. Dietrich Lehmann, Managing Director of mele Biogas GmbH, participated in the work of the Future Council.
The aims of the MV Future Council are to promote the necessary transformation to bring about structural change in the economy and society towards sustainability and the achievement of the Paris climate targets, as well as to develop recommendations in the form of a transformative future program. The Future Council held its first meeting on October 22, 2020 in Schwerin.
On March 19, 2021, the digital closing event took place with the handover of the document entitled “Our future is now! For a sustainable, digital and public welfare-oriented MV.
