In February, several visits were made to the Postma farm in Lambrechtshagen, near Rostock. The dairy farm Hof Postma is a partner farm for the German project partners in the BIOSOLFarm project.
The University of Rostock and enviMV discussed the planned activities within the framework of the project together with the managing director Mr. Nils Postma. During the inspections, key information on the current electricity production of the solar and biogas plant installed there was recorded. In addition, the main energy consumers on the farm were identified in order to analyze the basis for further investigations regarding a possible increase in the efficiency of energy consumption.
